ION™-B Fiber Distributed Antenna System

ION™-B Series is a Radio-over-Fiber (RoF) distributed antenna system which meets all distribution needs from the simplest to the most complex indoor applications. It is capable of transporting frequencies from 800 to 2700 MHz, from traditional cellular to Wi-Fi signals, regardless of protocol or modulation.

CommScope passive components meet many application requirements. They are ideal as standalone equipment for completely passive indoor networks driven by a base station or RF coverage and complement our ION™ Series Distributed Antenna Systems.

Tunnel Coverage Systems

CommScope leads the industry with the design and supply of cost effective tunnel solutions worldwide and offers several systems for inside tunnel coverage that include the ION™ Fiber Distributed Antenna System, Node repeaters, and ACB cable boosters. CommScope products support all technologies, including but not limited to analog, Tetra, Tetrapol, TDMA, iDEN, IS-95, CDMA2000, GSM, GPRS, EDGE, and UMTS. All can be integrated into the Andrew A.I.M.O.S. Network Management Solution.

Mobile Coverage Systems

The MIR-T series repeaters are designed for 19 inch rack mounting. Each frequency band (GSM-R, (E)GSM900, GSM1800, UMTS) fits into one 19 inch chassis of 1 HU which can be combined externally. Tunable band selective conversion modules also provide a high degree of flexibility.

MRx18 miniRepeater

The MRx18 miniRepeater is a very small sized and cost-effective bi-directional indoor amplifier used to enhance signals between a mobile and a base station. For medium sized areas such as offices, shops and basements the MRx18 miniRepeater is the ideal solution.

Node A RF Enhancer

The digital multi-band Node A RF Enhancer with its multi sub-band frequency selection in combination with a passive distribution system enables high quality voice and high speed data service in larger buildings where it was previously not available.

Node X RF Enhancers

Node X Series repeaters for outdoor application enable high quality voice and high speed data service in areas where it was previously not available. Furthermore the digital Node X repeater removes antenna-to-antenna isolation problems through its ICE (Interference Cancellation Equipment) feature which is mandatory to achieve high output power when donor and coverage antenna(s) are close to each other. Additionally the Node X rates QoS measurement statistics, and exacts setups through an integrated measurement receiver (signal decoder).
